Aadivetan

Aadi and Vedan are theyyams performed in some areas of North Malabar during the month of Karkidakam. Unlike usual theyyams, these are performed by small children. Also, instead of being performed in temples or kaavus, these theyyams enter each house. Aaditheyyam, in the form of Parvathi, is also called Karkidothi.
