Muchilottu Bhagavathi is a very graceful theyyam. It is said that the facial painting of the goddess uses Kuruttishankh and Praaku. Being sattvic, this theyyam does not have agile movements or speech. Adorned with all ornaments, this theyyam appears beautiful like a bride. The tali tying of the eternal virgin goddess is called Perunkaliyattam. Perunkaliyattam is performed every 12 years.
