Aalitheyyam

Aali Theyyam is one of the Mappila theyyams. It is believed that the sorcerer Aali was killed by Bhagavathi, and after that, bad omens began to appear in the land, so a kolam was created for Aali and performed as a theyyam. The people of Kumbala call this theyyam Alibhootham and the kaavu where it is performed as Alibhoothasthanam.
