Veerabhadran

Veerabhadran is the fierce incarnation of Shiva. The main sub-deity in Bhadrakali temples is Veerabhadra. However, this is rare in Shiva temples. According to Shaiva Purana, Veerabhadra was born from Shiva's anger after learning that his wife Sati, an aspect of Adiparashakti, had entered the fire due to the insult at the yajna conducted by her father Daksha.
